I've been here for several services and the staff is always very helpful with fair prices.
I'll qualify this with saying I never thought I'd be able to give a 5-star review to Sears, but the people at this particular center somehow overcome the dysfunction of their parent company to provide excellent service. I've been in here twice in the last month trying to get two very old cars on the road and winter ready, and both times they've gone above and beyond. I dread every bit of this process - I originally came to Sears purely out of convenience and was bracing myself for regret. Both times in question Laura was my service advisor and was polite, knowledgeable, and provided me updates over the phone constantly. The first time I also was impressed by a few other people around the shop who helped in getting my car back on the road as quickly as possible after some unforseen rust related issues. Maybe Sears has turned a corner from the needless corporate mess that they've been for decades, but I'm more inclined to believe the local staff here is just really good at what they do.
They lie cheat and steal they told me I needed new breaks when I just had them done and I took the 5hr to do 4 tires and align my car and I had to come back the next day to have it realign do not bring your car here
I have generally had very good experience with Sears Auto at Eastview Mall. Sometimes they get behind, but frankly what busy auto repair does not get behind sometime? Their repairs are good, their prices are reasonable and they back up their work without question. And the folks their are generally polite and try to do a good job. No place is perfect but of all the places around Rochester, and I have been to many of them, Sears is as good as any, and better than most. They could update their waiting room...that would be nice
I would like to thank Mr. Dewy at Sear's Auto for his excellent service and compassion. I was having a terrible car day and despite having all their appointment slots full, Myr. Dewy took the time to address my issues related to an item I had purchased through Sears. He was thoughtful, kind and most importantly provided me with the service I needed. Thanks again!
