Dr. Scheider is hands down the best veterinarian around! Having moved to the area over a year ago, Dr. Scheider came highly recommended. From our first visit, Dr. Scheider went above and beyond for our dog. Our dog can be nervous around men, but he loves Dr. Scheider. Dr. Scheider was on the floor with Echo getting to know him. He takes the time to get to know your pet as well as you. Our dog was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and it's because of Dr. Scheider's accurate diagnosis and treatment plan that our dog is still here today. He saved our dog's life. He really cares about the pets he sees and takes a real interest in them. It's not uncommon for Dr. Scheider to check in on our dog to see how he's doing as how we are doing. He takes time out of his own personal life to always be there. The only thing I wish we had done differently is move to the area so we could've had him care for our dog earlier. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Dr. Scheider is truly the best of the best!!!
I've been going here for two years with my Vizsla. They are super friendly (and patient!) here. I always get a good vibe. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about pets. I've had to come in a few times on short notice, and they always fit me in.
Ms. Fish did a wonderful job assisting and helping me during my time of need when I brought my senior cat in for an emergency. She was extremely understanding and caring while giving me all the info I needed to decide what was best for my ill cat. The staff did a wonderful job getting him in immediately. Ms. Fish also didn't pressure us in making any choices or decisions. Wonderful, caring staff. Will highly recommend and go back.
Took us in right on time. Vet and techs and front desk people are extremely nice and inviting. A+++

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been a loyal client of Perinton Veterinary Hospital since 2013. I have heard of Dr. Scheider's great work through Pitty Love Rescue, as they do work together. My dog Asia Marie is a rescue from Pitty Love, and Perinton Veterinary is their top recommended vet. Upon meeting Dr. S, his friendly approachable nature is welcoming to humans and animals alike. He makes Asia feel comfortable, and is very thorough with his work, explaining everything in full. Dr. S also saved my pup from a cancerous tumor, and now she is cancer free. I even had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Spring for the first time ever, and she was just fantastic. I'm grateful to have such a great vet! Thank you so much. If you have doubts about your current vet, I highly recommend you switch!
